Tourism Radio Namibia (TRN) is a new location based information service that allows self drive tourists to gain maximum pleasure out of their travels through Namibia.

It is a simple small device that is easily installed into a hired or private vehicle and which uses GPS technology to broadcast interesting information relevant to the area that

As well as regional information the station also broadcasts fun and light hearted shows that keep tourists informed and entertained. Not only that but a ground breaking satellite controlled GPS intelli-point system will draw attention to various points of interest as users approach them, whether it will be highlighting a traditional restaurant, an accommodation spot or a historical landmark.

The same intelli-point system will also alert drivers to road hazards, high accident areas and other invaluable road safety information.
